We used AASFS for our customs clearing work for a statue sent from overseas by sea freight.
All I can say is Wow! Prit and Affordable Air & Sea Freight were outstanding! I can highly recommend them for the utmost integrity and honesty and also for explaining everything properly from start to finish. The explanation part might sound elementary, but it is so important.
We were locked in to a different agent for the port services and general administration by the seller and freight forwarder and we really regretted it. This agent we got locked into (I'm not sure if I can name him here) was like a rock, getting any information out of him was like getting blood out of a stone. His answers came at the very last minute causing immense stress and cost us so much money scrambling to get things done at the last minute with the utmost urgency. This other agent looted us, they charged us over $750 in unnecessary charges and expenses. Then they made us pay $550 in storage because the logistics company appointed by this other agent wouldn't open on weekends but charge daily for cargo sitting in their warehouse despite us only being notified on the Friday at midday for collection - no time to organise any transport for collection within 3 hours!! If the other agent had simply given me an answer when I asked every day for the previous 6 days I could have made arrangements otherwise. If only I had used AASFS things would have been so much easier and so much cheaper.
So my advice is Please Please Please don't make the same mistake, ask your freight forwarder and seller to use Affordable Air & Sea Freight Services. Prit is honest and upfront and is very prompt. If we had used Prit we would have saved so much time, money and stress.
Dealing with Affordable Air & Sea Freight Services was an absolute pleasure, I wonder how the other agents operate like rogue cowboys and still get customers. Prit was so good with our customs clearance I wish I could have used him for everything else in the importing process.
Do not hesitate, call AASFS now and call them even before you purchase anything from overseas requiring sea freight so you know up front what is the case. No other agents will tell you this and they will blast you with ridiculous bills and expenses that you might not have to pay if you use a good agent like AASFS. AASFS will tell you everything up front, give you a quote or very accurate costs estimates, and the process will be explained to you properly. This saves time, money and seriously a lot of stress and frustration. Call AASFS!

We imported a difficult, voluminous, heavy yet delicate LCL shipment. Our supplier was best in his work but not equally best in export procedures. So, there were some challenges. AASFS helped us navigate this very well. They not only guided us but also the exporter when it came to documentation. They kept us abreast of all the steps all the time - by SMS and email. They lodged custom entries much ahead of time, enabling prompt clearance and advised us to save costs. Their rates were very reasonable too.
